Fabric: Cotton 100%
Country style cotton ribbon with raw edges, rustic ribbon, hand-painted ribbon. Ideal for bouquets, invitations, wedding decor and photoshoots
The handmade process of delicate balancing of natural dye stuffs results in a beautiful perfectly imperfect products, with unique mottling and soft imprints of the natural hand dyeing.
Our process is slow and unique. We believe that it is this charm and character that creates the romance of the old world and makes these luxurious pieces so beautiful. This means that our ribbons and textiles may have slight nuances or variations in texture, color, etc.
Ribbons are wound on handmade wooden spools (alder). You can see the spools in the last photo. The spools are made manually by my husband. They have a beautiful rustic design and will become a nice decor for a photo. The reels are not perfect as they are made entirely by hand without any machine tools or fixtures. They are free. You only pay for the tape :)
Width: 0.5", 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4"
Length: 3 yards/3 meters
Light and delicate texture will delight every bride.
The note! The product is painted by hand and can have color transitions. Color may differ from photo depending on your monitor settings. I tried to convey the color of the product as close as possible to the original.

CARE:
TIEING A FLOWER BOUQUET
When you are using your ribbon to tie a flower bouquet, please make sure that the stem is dry. Wet stem may impart colors onto the ribbon and the stain might be difficult to remove. Also take care that the ribbon mustn't get in touch with water containing flower food, as it is chemical, which can stain the ribbon and shift natural colors.
Floral green tape may impart color to the silk ribbon. If you use green tape, it is advisable to cover it with twine or scotch tape to prevent color transfer to the ribbon.
WASHING & IRONING
It is not advisable to wash the ribbon because some colors might be affected by the acidity or alkalinity of the used soap and water . If you need to wash your ribbon, we recommend a gentle handwash in tepid water using a pH-neutral soap and air dry out of direct sunlight. Natural colors may shift in shades with drastic change in pH or adding chemicals.
You can iron your ribbon using dry iron on the silk (low - medium) setting. After air-drying, the cotton fabric may feel stiff. You can give it a gentle scrunch to fluff it and make it soft again.
STORING YOUR COTTON RIBBON
Please note that fading is a characteristic of fabric colors , either it is natural or sometimes even synthetic colors. In naturally dyed products, mother nature gives us living colors, but over time the color may shift or fade. It is recommended to approach this phenomenon by embracing the beauty in each of its life phases. Storing the ribbons in a dark place or out of bright light or direct sunlight will help to slow color fading.
